NinjaDojo Members

Ninjas at Campus.

A ninja training group at your university or college, led by one of your own students or staff.

What does the campus get? Something real for student life.

Students learn to keep themselves safe on and around campus, and to stay calm and clear when exams put them under pressure.

It is a group to belong to, led by one of your own, and connected to the Pretoria Hombu, the head dojo.

Who leads it? One of your own.

A student or a staff member leads the group. No experience needed: they stay connected to the Pretoria Hombu and learn as the group grows.

Where we can, an instructor from the Hombu starts the group with you and hands it over.

Your leader gets Hombu access, and the dojo does the admin and collects the monthly fees, so they just train and lead.

What do students learn? Real ninja skills.

Unarmed skills first: defences, strikes and kicks, throws, joint locks, escapes from grabs, rolls and falls. Then the weapons of the ninja: the katana, hanbo, bo staff and tanto (and others).

Along the way they build confidence and learn to stay calm under pressure, belt by belt, on a path to black belt graded at the Hombu.

What does it cost the campus? Nothing.

Each student who trains pays their own monthly membership to the dojo. The campus pays nothing and handles no money.

Who can join? Students, 18 and older.

The group is for students who are 18 or older, and for staff if you like.

It can stay campus-only, out of our public group finder, or be open to people nearby.

How does it start? With a conversation.

Send the form below. The dojo talks with you about where and when the group trains, and who will lead it. Then the group trains on campus, on the days and times you agree.
